Our wedding photography style is fun and interaction-based. With this in mind, we strive to photograph couples who want to have fun and enjoy their wedding day. This forest wedding was a great fit and let us showcase our style! The couple chose their location based on a sweet, sentimental reason and we loved every minute of it!
An Annual Date
When Amber and Kyle asked us to photograph their wedding day, we were so excited. They chose Double J Resort in Rothbury because of a very special reason, personal and sentimental to their relationship. They met at an annual event held there, called the Electric Forest and have been attending together ever since. During the festival, the forest is full of exciting, electric art and decorations. While most of that was taken down during their wedding day, we were still able to venture around and see some of the permanent fixtures throughout the forest where they’ve spent so many dates!
Electric Forest to Fairytale Forest
The wedding day ran perfectly, with all of the couple’s friends and family being the best support system possible. They chose to have their ceremony in the intimate wood chapel on the grounds, where there were laughs, tears and so much love. We loved that there was a mural on the wall which matched the couples personalities so well. When we photograph weddings, we love to capture newlywed portraits immediately following the ceremony to capture the pure joy of the couple’s love. This was so much fun to photograph as we walked around the forest and saw not only their favorite spots, but new ones as well.
